Earh turnes in three ways. One is around the Sun. Each time it churnes, it is a new year. It also churnes around the middle of the galaxy. There usualy is a black hole in the middle of each galaxy, which means that it would swallow our whole planet. Then it also churnes around its axis. One part of the Earth always faces to the sun, which makes it lite and then away from the sun which makes it dark.
